Kevätkakku / Spring cake

Ylempänä näätte kakun, joka ei ollut vielä lentänyt metsään. Kakun, johon olin jotenkin tyytyväinen. Kakun, jonka olin ensikertaa viimeistellyt sokerimassalla. Sitten päätin nostaa pöytää, jolla kakku oli ja seuraavana hetkenä kakku oli metsässä kallellaan. Siksi vain kaksi kuvaa tänään. Anteeksi.

Olen monesti kuluneen vuoden aikana käynyt Porvoolaisessa leivontatarvikeliikkeessä, Juhlavassa. Mukava ja asiantunteva palvelu saa minut aina palaamaan pikkuruiseen kauppaan. Lähestulkoon kaikki tarvikkeet, mitä leipomiseen tarvitaan, olen ostanut Juhlavasta. Tämän kakun tekoon käytin neilikkaruusu- sekä pisaramuotteja. Kakun lentäminen metsään sai minut harkitsemaan, että olikohan sen arvoista. Ei.

Above you can see a cake. A cake I was happy with. A cake I first time covered with fondant. And after all those 'Wow, it's beautiful' - comments, I threw it to the woods. Literally. It was lying in the forest with these little blueberry shrubs, all happy and calm, while I was crying my eyes out.
'It was so beautiful and fragile, why did this happen to me?'
'I wanted it, why did the mother of nature have to take my cake?'
'I'm not a bad person, am I?'
I cried like a baby. Until I got hit by a bee. I started laughing and picked myself up. You can still eat it though.
I was trying to move the table where the cake was. And in a second or two, - and after a big WHOOOOSH -, the cake wasn't on my table anymore. End of story.
